Frequently Asked Questions
Welcome to the Bioscripts FAQ. Here, you’ll find clear, helpful answers to the most common questions about how Bioscripts works, how to enroll, and how our proprietary Terracode system translates soil biology into actionable insights.
Whether you’re a new visitor exploring what we offer or an enrolled partner seeking clarity, we hope this section gives you the confidence and understanding you need. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, feel free to reach out — we’re always here to help.

Q. How many acres do I need to enroll in order to become a member of Bioscripts?
A. At minimum, you need to enroll 160 acres to become a member of Bioscripts. However, no need to just stop at the minimum! You are welcome to enroll as many acres over 160 as you’d like. In addition, you can split this between corn and soybean acres to reach the 160 acre minimum. You can designate the number of acres when enrolling.
Q. What is the first step I need to do after I enroll?
A. Upon enrolling you will receive a welcome email. Next, whether in person or by mail, you will be shipped a custom Bioscripts member box. Enclosed you will find Bioscript soil sample bags. Our team will soon consult with you on how to pull the soil samples (Watch video on how to take a soil sample HERE) and determine if the “Basic” or “Advanced” approach works best for your operation. In short, the first step upon enrolling is to COLLECT soil samples!
Q. What is the Basic or Advanced Soil Health Report?
A. Basic soil health reports reflect soluble nutrient levels, pH, organic matter, soil respiration, C:N ratio, and nutrient density levels. The advanced soil health report includes all data. I STILL HAVE TO FIX THIS ONE!
Q. Does this system help me determine which type and how much fertilizer I need?
A. Yes! Our team will enquire about what fertilizer options are available to you in your area. This information, along with your soil health report, is then input into the bio-intelligent engine Terracode. The result is a precisely, fine-tuned fertilizer program along with biological inputs for the cropping season per crop.
Q. How long before I see the benefits of Bioscripts?
A. Immediately! Initially, the savings alone from the reduced, yet calculated fertilizer program results in immediate savings. Biological changes in the soil need to be monitored for at least 12 months but preferably three full cropping seasons. Each soil has its own frequency of performance. The soil health report is foundational for everything that follows after. In order to TRANSFORM a soil we need living plants, sound fertilizer management, oxygen, water, and targeted biologicals. A “one-size” fits all approach of what we’ve done in the past, those days are over! Each field you have functions at its own pace. We work to DIAGNOSE what that soil needs then implement the plan but biology has never been immediate gratification. It takes time to make long-lasting impacts. However, we still see great responses the first year but the goal is to improve year-over-year so the benefits leave a strong and profitable legacy to the next generation.

Q. Can I opt out after one season?
A. Yes, but we wouldn’t advise it. Soil biology is vital but yet little is known about the specifics of how it works in our industry. Bioscripts simplifies a complex, living ecosystem consisting of living microorganisms into an understandable roadmap for now and the future. Active, beneficial biology drives all systems (along with moisture) to open pathways that release essential nutrients each plant needs. In turn, each plant grows to reach its full potential. Building a soil ecosystem that is balanced, active, and working for you cannot happen in one season. Sometimes the bad outweighs the good and the soil but until we analyze the soil to see those compositions then no single biological product will EVER help. Bioscripts is the only closed-loop system in the ag industry that understands the nexus of chemical, physical, and biological. It’s not just reports, it’s multiple intuitive biotechnologies matched with Terracode to provide a revolutionary system that puts biology at the center. One season just isn’t enough. You deserve to learn more about your soil and shape the future of your farm!
